Jerome's is very anxious to sell furniture. We are an older couple who bought an entire set of living room furniture.

Shortly after purchase, we had one problem after another They even screwed up the delivery. We should have refused the furniture but we didn't. Shortly after we got the furniture I called stating the electric recliners didn't sound right and they said it was normal. A yr later the loveseat pulled away from the consol and the seat caved in on one side.

Techs have come out 3 times, telling us they ordered parts and nothing happened. Jeromes kept saying parts are on their way until the 2 yr. warranty expired. How do these people stay in business?

Fools like us I guess. In the beginning Jeromes told us if we couldn't work things out, replacing our furniture was an option, Now we are told they aren't doing anything and to contact Guardian/the insurance

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $2200.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Your review of Jerome's Furniture 2019-04-30 15:39:25 If I could give a minus 10 I would. We spent over $3000.00 dollars on a Cal King Mattress.

The sales lady said it was the top of the line mattress that Jerome's manufactures. The bed was great feeling and we bought it. One year later and the mattress is failing. The stitching on the seam is failing and thus the material is pulling apart.

We made the required notifications and had a inspector come out to look at the mattress and take photographs. They stated, Inadequate support from improper frame. So the mattress is on top of the box springs, how would a "improper frame" below the box cause this? It won't.

We just received an email from the company wiping their hands clean from all repair or replacement of the mattress stating, " No manufacturing defects identified Inadequate support from improper frame - please refer to manufacturer's warranty on proper frame support (queen and king size must have rigid center support to the floor. Fabric pulled apart from closed tape edge is not a manufactures defect. We sincerely regret that the manufacturer's warranty does not extend to the concerns you described. If you have questions regarding your warranty please refer to your written warranty card.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS RIP OFF FURNITURE STORE AS THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANT! SHOP AT COSTCO, BETTER PRODUCT AND A "NO HASTLE" RETURN POLICY. ++++++++++++++++++++ I received a *** REPLY from a rep from Jerome's. In short they blew us off saying that a TECHNICIAN had the final say so regarding this mattress, I call BS.

So a technician is "god" over management ? So you are telling me that your TECHNICIAN has final say so over management ? I find that your response is repugnant and ludicrous.This damage clearly shows bad quality control. I will cancel out my credit card with your company.

Apparently others have had the same problem. COSTCO is a much better place to buy a quality mattress and they have a excellent return policy, not like yours. We will do our best to bring this issue to light to warn others not to shop at your stores.
